Special Meeting Notice:   SE Oklahoma – NE Texas July 7, 2007      Paris, TX  @  the Fairgrounds

We have had great meetings in both May and June.   James, Gary, and Duane:  Thanks for all the hard work.  That start is now being carried on with the July SE Saltfork Craftsmen Meeting at the Fairgrounds in Paris, TX.

Trade item:  any kind of LEAF.

Lunch:  Gary’s wife Ann Butler is making a pot of beans with meat, and will have cornbread on the side.  Bring your lawn chairs and favorite drink.

Safety Glasses  -  bring them -- wear them.

Notes:

1)   Some of you will need to bring your portable forge, anvil, vise, hand tools, etc. so that we can carry on the teaching started at the Paris and Blossom meetings.  Either a coal or gas forge is OK.

2)  We have it worked out so that the SE meetings for the next few months can be held at the Paris, TX Fairgrounds facility.  This will give us a central location and provide some meeting continuity for the short term.  Later we can start having meetings again a member’s shops if the group wants to do so.  SE meetings are on the first Saturday of each month.

3)   At this meeting we need volunteers to host meetings for the next few months.  Gary & James are not going to be able to keep the SE Region going alone.  As the Saltfork Craftsmen Newsletters are generally mailed out around the 28th of the month, we need to have the SE meeting information in to the Newsletter Editor 2 months in advance.

If you have any questions about this SE area meeting, call Gary Butler (903-785-9545) or James Allcorn (903-785-2608 home or 903-517-1667 cell)
